Computers are becoming a standard feature in most homes nowadys, often on the web with mutual shared wireless broadband. Early and even modern PC's are great for their task, but bulky in nature. There has now been a growing irresistable move toward slimmer, neater and less bulky laptops.
Often in some families, each member of the family has their own laptop of notebook computer. The scene is changing quickly as manufacturers see this and produce faster, lighter, slimmer laptops. Battery life is improving from an hour to many hours. 4 hours plus is common-place.
What is next on the development of laptops? Style is changing. The pink laptop is popular with the girls. Windows formats will try and chase the Mac laptops by providing a wider range of colours and styles. maybe a manufacturer will really wake up and catch on to provide a unit with clip-on 'skins' to suit users individual fashionable tastes. How long before we see a leather clad laptop? lol. This would openup a whole new 'skins' market!
